This small pueblo sits on the Southeast shore of Lake Arenal. This lake front village of el Castillo is small but growing, with about 450+ people. Their homes are stretched mostly along a mountain ridge nestled between two river valleys. This peaceful place has vistas overlooking Arenal Lake and Arenal Volcano with the back up against the national forest.
